Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 July 2026
Morningpass is operated by Y.M. Holding. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who it is shared with.
What stays on your device
Your alarms, alarm names, wake times, selected challenges, and streak history are stored locally on your iPhone. We do not upload them to our servers.
Camera and motion
Some challenges use the camera to confirm you completed them — counting push-up reps with on-device body pose detection, or checking a photo of your made bed.
- Rep counting for push-ups, squats, and jumping jacks runs entirely on your device. No video leaves your iPhone.
- Photo-based challenges send a single image to our verification service to check whether the challenge was completed. The image is used for that check and is not used to build a profile of you.
- Motion and step data is read from the device only to evaluate the challenge you selected.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. These events are privacy-safe: they record things like which onboarding step you reached, whether a wake session was completed, and which category of challenge was used. They do not include alarm names, wake times, photos, or QR code contents.
Crash reporting
When the app crashes we record the error and a short trail of the screens you were on beforehand, so we can fix it. This does not include your alarm content.
Subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use Superwall to display paywalls and to know whether your subscription is active. We never see your payment details — Apple handles all billing.
Service providers
We share limited data with the services required to run the app:
- Apple — App Store purchases and subscription status
- PostHog — product analytics and crash reporting
- Superwall — paywall delivery and subscription state
- Supabase — backend used for photo challenge verification
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can request access to, or deletion of, the data associated with your install by emailing support@morningpass.app. Deleting the app removes your locally stored alarms and streaks.
Children
Morningpass is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page.
